Technology Modernization Senior Associate - Alliances

As a Alliance Channel Associate to support the firm’s growing Technology Alliance Practices. This role will help position the firm as a leading channel partner to our top-tier alliances and to clients by managing our presence at national events, developing publications to expand awareness of Grant Thornton’s capabilities within the Alliance ecosystems, and supporting the Alliance Sales team. This position works closely with the Alliance Leadership and Sales teams, Advisory Services Marketing, Industry Marketing and others as necessary to help our alliances attain their growth goals. This role requires a highly organized self-starter with strong writing skills, presentation design experience and excellent project management skills.

From day one, you’ll be empowered by the greater Transformation team to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently.

Your day-to-day may include:

  • Project manage Alliance Channel events from planning and participation through follow up, including:

  • Actively participate in multiple conferences and client-centric events across the country

  • Manage event participation—pre-event planning, on-site activities and sessions, and post-event communications and follow-up

  • Source special event locations and coordinate event details

  • Engage with clients, prospects and Alliance Channel partners to represent Grant Thornton during conferences

  • Review session abstracts and presentations to maximize Grant Thornton’s position as a thought leader

  • Collaborate with social media and marketing teams to promote our conference presence

  • Create Alliance communications to expand awareness of Grant Thornton’s capabilities

  • Lead the writing of Alliance Channel communications and sales enablement documents, including case studies, win stories, newsletters, event communications and social media posts

  • Highlight the Grant Thornton value proposition and our technology alliance differentiators in written materials

  • Manage workflow of alliance channel projects and thought leadership

  • Design and develop Alliance Channel documents and sales materials, etc.

  • Create prospective client and alliance channel presentations in PowerPoint leveraging firm’s visual identity and brand standards

  • Project manage the creation of sales collateral including digital flipbooks, brochures, sales decks and infographics

  • Help support the Grant Thornton Alliance leadership team including research, literature creation and materials development

    You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

  • Possesses a high degree of integrity at all times and in all interactions

  • Communicates openly and honestly with clients and the Grant Thornton team

  • Consistently promotes and contributes to an effective team environment

  • Readiness to travel. Must be currently eligible to work in the United States, position is not eligible for employer sponsorship

  • English: Fluent spoken and written communications skills

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Flexible, adaptable and an eager self-starter

  • Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced PowerPoint skills

  • Experience with other leading design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience with a CRM system and CRM reporting a plus

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required

  • Travel to several national events required throughout the year

  • Consistent with the firm’s hybrid work model, this position will require in-person attendance at least two days per week either at a GT office or client site
