Aston Carter Staff Accountant in Orlando, Florida

Description:

Prepare and record journal entries, adjustments, and monthly reconciliations in QuickBooks Online

• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales taxes returns

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly budgets

• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and select profit and loss accounts

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for clients

• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual closings

• Perform QuickBooks file clean ups, including standardizing chart of accounts

• Review work performed by Accounting Assistants

• Participate in monthly 1:1 check-ins and attend daily huddle

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2 years full cycle accounting experience

• Must have experience dealing with multiple clients

• Proficient with QuickBooks Online

• Proficient with MS Office

• Bachelors in Accounting is mandatory

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision

• Must display a professional and positive attitude
