Aerotek Maintenance Electrician-hiring Asap in Orlando, Florida
This position operates on a 12-hour shift from 7 am to 7 pm, following a 2-2-3 schedule, which includes every other weekend off
You will be expected to work overtime and weekends as necessary, especially during busy periods
Your primary responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing various systems, and ensuring that all safety rules and practices are followed diligently
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including lubricating and measuring wear on equipment, performing emergency maintenance to support plant operations, and accurately using measurement and test equipment
You will also be involved in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations
This includes installing wiring and conduit for new and existing equipment, replacing faulty electrical components, and diagnosing issues with electronic components such as printed circuit boards
You will need to read and interpret electrical block diagrams and schematics, maintain clean and organized work areas, and prepare and maintain maintenance records
The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work well in a team environment and follow through on assigned responsibilities
You will also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by supervision, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the plant operations
Maintain production equipment following all safety rules and practices
Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and observing operations
Perform emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
Accurately use measurement and test equipment
Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations
Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment
Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and motors
Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Troubleshoot drives, including AC and DC
Read electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic
Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleanup as part of completing tasks
Accurately prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork
Troubleshoot and solve problems effectively
Maintain teamwork with other associates
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
