THE WORK

The selected candidate will lead a team of integrated program planners, focused primarily on Development scope, but also integrating execution and proposal efforts into the Enterprise schedule across the F-35 training portfolio. This role will lead the integrated program planning team providing qualitative and quantitative data analysis for program performance management leadership to meet critical schedules, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to mitigate program risks.

This role serves as partner to the Program Management and F&BO leadership, external customers, subcontractor partners, and the RMS Earned Value Policy & Compliance organization by communicating program status, addressing execution & compliance risks, supporting proposal efforts, and creating value by impacting successful program execution. This role will be responsible for program staffing and developing organizational talent through training, coaching, facilitating new assignments, and building a pipeline for growth across the TLS Planning team.

This role will utilize the Enterprise schedule to coach and guide the planning team to better understand the scope of their development efforts and the schedule impacts on the broader F-35 portfolio. The selected candidate will partner with cross-functional F-35 Development PMO to message Enterprise-level schedule updates, challenges and opportunities to TLS Executive Leadership on a recurring basis.

Shaping the future and embracing change will be pivotal for this candidate as Lockheed Martin and the overall Integrated Program Planning organization continue to transform and grow through 1LMX and “Start Green, Stay Green” initiatives.

This position will be a hybrid position with a minimum of 2-3 days/week on site. Occasional travel may be required.

The F-35 Training & Logistics Integrated Program Planning Manager is a functional leadership role within the Integrated Program Planning organization with responsibility for supporting the F-35 Training & Logistics Development Programs. F-35 T&L Programs is a market segment within the Training & Logistics Solutions (TLS) Line of Business within the Rotary & Mission Systems (RMS) business area. This role will report to the F-35 Integrated Program Planning Sr. Manager and will be based in Orlando, FL.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience developing strong relationships with Program Management, Customers, Functional Leads, and Subcontractor partners.

• Earned Value Management skills, advanced integrated cost/schedule management experience.

• Experience with the capture/proposal management process – development and management of capture / proposal schedules

• Experiences delivering project briefings to internal and external customers.

• Experience in business leadership roles and proven track record of success and high-performance including development of talent within teams.

• Extensive experience using scheduling software such as MS Project, Open Plan, or Primavera.

• Previous leadership role and experience managing a team of planners.

• DCMA surveillance and DDM reporting.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
