This role is located in Orlando, Florida and is required to be onsite.

Equitable Advisors is seeking a detail-oriented/multi-tasking Operations Coordinator. This individual will be the key person to support the office with operational tasks and miscellaneous day to day needs and will need to be open to learning new things and owning their role. Role will administer company policy at the local level and act as Field Liaison for the Complex Team. This person will report directly to the Complex Operations Manager.

  • Event and Meeting coordination for Branch

  • Travel coordination for Branch Manager & Senior Vice Presidents

  • Finance – expense account management and submission

  • Administrative duties to include but not limited to:

  • Branch office calendar maintenance – scheduling meetings and calls

  • Conference room, Technology, and Branch Network Troubleshooting

  • Order pantry and office supplies

  • Data collection & report preparation

  • Support in the onboarding of new advisors

  • Mail incoming and outgoing – back up

  • Technology – assist with questions and training

The base salary range for this position is $46,000-$50,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong technical aptitude

  • Able to work closely with both the leadership team and advisors

  • Can organize tasks and prioritize

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

  • Meets deadlines

  • Knows how to guide people thru a process

  • Displays good judgment & partners where necessary

  • Understands the need for confidentiality at all levels of work

  • Ability to serve as a contact to and communicate with financial professionals with diplomacy and tact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1 years of experience in business is preferred

  • 1 Years experience in Event Planning a plus

  • 1 Years experience in Financial Services a plus

Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize, integrate, update, document and distribute business information in a secure, effective way.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
