GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Manager to support the corporate office of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, located in Orlando, Florida. The CRM Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information across the enterprise by providing analytics and insights that drive optimized decision‑making to deliver operational efficiencies for improved guest experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversee the current business intelligence operation on a day-to-day basis, ensuring timely delivery of reports, analytics, and data insights to all functional areas of the business such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, Culinary, Merchandise, Operations, Legal, and Human Resources
Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards to drive key business decisions
Work collaboratively with key business partners to understand their information needs and provide high quality, high performing and intuitive data and reporting solutions
Strategize with business partners to implement new analytical approaches as needed (e.g., designing new segments to analyze guest behavior)
Drive the business intelligence operation forward by regularly evaluating new BI technologies, staying informed on current trends, practices, and tools, and recommending solutions that will provide actionable data insights to increase profits, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies across the enterprise
Work collaboratively with IT colleagues to analyze and optimize performance in all areas of the business intelligence operation (e.g. monitoring and tuning ETL processes and database performance)
Ensure ETL processes and associated troubleshooting guides are documented and knowledge shared amongst team members
Ensure data operation best practices are documented and enforced
Operate as a subject matter expert, leader, and mentor to improve the knowledge, skills and capabilities of data warehousing and business intelligence throughout the company
Manage multiple priorities, assess, and adjust quickly to changing priorities
Travel and non-business hour work may be required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent 5+ years of related work experience using Microsoft SQL Server tools to develop SQL code and ETL packages in a data warehouse environment
Expert knowledge of data architecture for data warehousing, reporting, and analytics
Proficient with ETL, enterprise reporting, and enterprise analytics tools such as MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or others
Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, focus on detail, set priorities, and work independently
Above average documentation skills, with requisite attention to detail
Ability to exert influence and collaborate with stakeholders to drive direction on BI projects
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers to resolve issues and implement business intelligence solutions that meet business needs
Ability to communicate/present to senior level managers
Preferred Skills
Experience with data science, machine learning, predictive analytics or similar disciplines
Experience with Big Data or Data Lakes
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Previous theme park or hospitality experience
Business Objects development experience required, which includes:
Worked as BO administrator. Installed, configured and maintained BO secured environment
Analyzing existing Universe and Database to enhance the existing Universe and created new Universe
Created Alerts and implemented ranking in reports
Design process including preparation of flow charts, entity relationship diagrams, designing table structures, normalization/demoralization and defining integrity constraints
