Aerotek Production MIG Welder in Orion, Illinois
Job Description
We are seeking skilled production welders to join our team and assist with supporting the making of augers. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding, blueprint reading, and using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Responsibilities
MIG welding on various types of augers for clients in agriculture (CASE, John Deere, etc.)
Grind parts to clean up weld metal.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure parts.
Clean and organize the workstation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding certificate from High School or Technical School highly preferred
2+ years of MIG welding experience and in a production/manufacturing setting.
Ability to pass a blueprint test and weld test.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
