Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities using established procedures.
Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
Analyzes, participates in development, and implements logistics plans affecting the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products.
Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
Provides activity and status reports to management.
Basic Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years related experience. In lieu of formal education, 12 years of experience in the Provisioning field, preferably U.S. Army.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Logistics Provisioning functions using U.S. Army practices and guidelines (AR 700-18).
Understand Source, Maintenance and Recoverability coding (SM&R codes) to communicate maintenance and supply instructions.
Understand Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists of equipment and systems.
Be proficient with PowerLog J inputs and reporting methods (LSA-036/LSA-030 etc.).
Be proficient in reading Technical Drawings of vehicles and equipment and understand drawing structure and relevant markings.
Be proficient in the building of Bill of Materials (BOM) from drawing structure.
