Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, organizes, plans and administers various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities using established procedures.

  • Analyzes standard contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.

  • Analyzes, participates in development, and implements logistics plans affecting the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products.

  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.

  • Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.

  • Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.

  • Provides activity and status reports to management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years related experience. In lieu of formal education, 12 years of experience in the Provisioning field, preferably U.S. Army.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge and understanding of U.S. Army Logistics Provisioning functions using U.S. Army practices and guidelines (AR 700-18).

  • Understand Source, Maintenance and Recoverability coding (SM&R codes) to communicate maintenance and supply instructions.

  • Understand Repair Parts and Special Tools Lists of equipment and systems.

  • Be proficient with PowerLog J inputs and reporting methods (LSA-036/LSA-030 etc.).

  • Be proficient in reading Technical Drawings of vehicles and equipment and understand drawing structure and relevant markings.

  • Be proficient in the building of Bill of Materials (BOM) from drawing structure.
