Philips Program Director-Communications & Change Management-Consent Decree in Orange, Ohio

The Program Director-Consent Decree Communications & Change Management will play a critical role as an expert program director, change leader, and communication strategist over the full life of Philips’ Sleep & Respiratory Care (S&RC) Consent Decree.

Your role:

  • As a critical member of the Sleep & Respiratory Care Consent Decree Organization (CDO), the Program Director will lead a portfolio of programs and initiatives across global sites with a focus on developing and implementing our change and communication plans that build and sustain employee momentum toward a culture of year-over-year compliance.

  • Reporting to the S&RC Consent Decree Leader, you will partner cross-functionally with the business, R&D, HR, Integrated Supply Chain and Quality functions to ensure plans align with the CDO objectives and with priorities for five communications workstreams spanning external, customer, business, and internal employee communications regarding our Consent Decree.

  • Liaise with stakeholders and manage expectations using appropriate communication channels and techniques to showcase the plans, progress and accomplishments of the CD Office while ensuring messaging meets all legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Personal accountability for determining change management activities, resources/budget/timeline for the programs/portfolio, and responsible for executing the change plan.

  • Strong program management skills with experience in coordinating and managing complex communication and change efforts across multiple stakeholders and requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances, proactively identifying areas for improvement in the S&RC CD Office's communication and transformation efforts and adjusting tactics as necessary.

  • Manage a direct and indirect team of professionals (collaborators) to execute the communication and change plans effectively.

  • Reporting to the S&RC Consent Decree Leader, you will partner cross-functionally with the business, R&D, HR, Integrated Supply Chain and Quality functions to ensure plans align with the CDO objectives and with priorities for five communications workstreams spanning external, customer, business, and internal employee communications regarding our Consent Decree.

  • This Hybrid role may require travel up to 15%.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired a minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategic/functional program/portfolio leadership within regulated industries- Med Device/Pharma/Biotech or Government Agency, for matrixed organizations, with strong knowledge in innovation, product development, operations, communications, change management, etc.

  • You have proven expertise in all aspects of program planning and execution, demonstrating an outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology. PMP Certification preferred.

  • You’ve led change management and business transformation initiatives of a mid- to large-scale organization.

  • You’re a team player, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment and have demonstrated knowledge of communication best practices and ability to integrate into change and communications plans.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to tailor messaging according to the stakeholders' level of understanding.

  • You have the ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders, able to effectively communicate at all levels, including peer-to-peer relationships with executive business/market leaders and content experts.

  • You’re a self-starter, skilled in driving continuous improvement in a matrixed environment, leading process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Hoshin or 6-sigma).

  • You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Strategy, or related field (required), Master’s degree (desired). PMP Certification preferred.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position is $148,000 to $254,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
