POSITION SUMMARY:

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of the front desk area in a hospitality establishment. Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all front desk activities, this position involves supervising staff, handling guest inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high service standards. The Front Desk Supervisor is tasked with training and developing front desk personnel, coordinating with other departments, and managing schedules to ensure adequate coverage at all times.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional leadership abilities, and strong communication skills. The Front Desk Supervisor must maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests, team members, and other department heads. By fostering a positive and efficient work environment, the Front Desk Supervisor contributes to overall customer satisfaction and employee morale. The successful candidates responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in and check-out procedures, reservation management, and guest inquiries
  • Train, schedule, and supervise front desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient workflow
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability, rates, and guest information
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and pleasant stay for guests
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for front desk staff and provide feedback for improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed to support the hotel's overall operations.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
