Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level BIM Specialist - Structural to work at our office and on projects in Orange, CA.

The job responsibilities will include:

  • Works under direct supervision.

  • Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, renderings, and/or animations for promotion and proposals.

  • Office-based work with various departments to integrate imagery into presentations using existing software.

  • May help to create or maintain standards, processes, and goals.

  • Work is closely supervised.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or associate degree + 2 years of related experience or HS/GED + 4 years of related experience

  • US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fully conversant with the latest REVIT

  • Drafting / Engineering Drafting AND Autodesk Revit Structural trained

  • Able to assist in the development of Structural design/detailing and coordination of models with other design disciplines.

  • Able to produce construction documents in BIM environments from start to finish with limited assistance from more senior BIM team members

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be detail-oriented, thorough, well-organized, and effectively manage time

  • Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willing to work with multiple colleagues

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

  • Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills

  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively

  • Revit certification

  • AutoCAD experience

  • 1+ years' experience in the field of structural detailing/design with steel, concrete, and masonry buildings.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $30.00/hour - $40.00/hour.
