This Production Operator position takes place in a laboratory environment. The associate will work in the tumbling, clean room and/or packaging environment. This role entails meeting production output goals in a consistent manner. Use of a microscope and understanding magnification levels for visual inspection are used on the job. Responsibilities
Distinguish different lens and injector models and components.
Able to use a microscope and understand magnification levels for visual inspection.
Perform basic job functions in the following manufacturing areas: tumbling, cleanroom and packaging.
Ensure that all finished product meets quality standards and specifications.
Consistently meet quality and productivity output goals.
Keep working area clean and organized.
Maintain proper documentation per GDP (Good Documentation Practices) by filling out work orders correctly and accurately recording accepted and rejected quantities.
Follow and understand FIFO (First IN first OUT) methodology.
Listen and communicate effectively with Technicians, Leads and Supervisors about any production, quality or safety issues.
In this role you will learn three stations: tumbling, cleanroom and packaging. You will follow the entire manufacturing process from start to finish with the raw materials all the way until the finished product.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
