Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.Oneonta Job Corps offers training in; Medical Trades: Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, and Medical Administrative Assistant. Automobile trades: Auto Body Collision and Repair, Auto Technician, Auto Mechanics. Construction Trades: Tile Setting, Cement Mason, and Electrical. Advanced Trades: Overhead Line Electrical, Rural Underground Distribution, SMART Meter, and our Drone Piloting. Position Available: Administrative AssistantWe are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for our Admissions/Career Transition Services Department who can perform a variety of clerical functions. This position supports the Outreach and Admissions/Career Transition Director, and staff.  Position Available: Administrative Assistant - Oneonta (Full-Time)General Duties:Maintain calendar and schedule appointmentsSend/receive incoming/outgoing mailFollow-up on dates for action itemsType business letters, reports, etc.Compose and prepare routine correspondences for signatureMaintain confidential files and recordsAttend departmental meetings, take notes/meeting minutesOrder and maintain office supplies and equipmentSkills/Qualifications:Ability to generate standard business letters, forms, and presentationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenMeticulous documentation skills and attention to detailExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to Multi-TaskProficient in the use of computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Ability to operate office equipmentEducational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Prefer 2-3 years of experience.
