The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Journeyman Security Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of physical and environmental protection, personnel security, and incident handling as part of the SCITLS program supporting our customer, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is part of the SCITLS PMO team.

This position is located in Omaha, Nebraska and is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs, or coordinates activities of physical and environmental protection, personnel security, and incident handling

  • Follows security policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated in the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and any supplements

  • Checks clearance databases to verify clearance levels and access adhere to the Privacy Act, Title 5 of the U.S.C., Section 552a and applicable agency rules and regulations

  • Assists with clearance processes for individuals needing clearances and does not divulge or release privacy data or information

  • Ensures that all security, misconduct, or performance-related incidents are reported to the AAS COR and the contractor’s Facility Security Officer (FSO) within 48 hours

  • Handles complex personnel security issues related to project site access

  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments

  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks

  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current TS with SCI eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in science (BS) or a bachelor’s degree in arts (BA)

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a security manager

Proven experience in government program security operations.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,100 - $124,100
