The Customer Solutions for Industries (CS4i) organization is Oracle’s premier service provider for implementing RGIU SaaS products globally. We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Program Director for the North American (NAMER) unit within CS4i Retail Professional Services.
Position Overview
As a Senior Technical Program Director at CS4i, you will play a critical role in the delivery of large, complex business and IT transformation projects for high-profile retail customers. These projects will be at the cutting edge of cloud technology, using Oracle’s robust product suite. This senior leadership role requires a highly experienced individual capable of managing significant customer relationships and driving successful outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Senior Program Director will be responsible for overseeing multiple Oracle Retail accounts, engaging directly with senior-level customer executives (including C-suite), as well as managing key stakeholders within Oracle. The position also requires a strong understanding of project delivery and business transformation, with a focus on SaaS solutions and cloud-based delivery models.
This role is essential to the ongoing growth of CS4i Retail in NAMER, and will require strong technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Program Delivery & Leadership : Own the delivery of large-scale programs, ensuring they meet customer objectives and Oracle’s high standards. Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives, providing strategic direction and ensuring successful outcomes.
Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with senior executives both within Oracle and with customers to define the scope, approach, and execution strategy for all programs. Lead steering committees and provide regular updates to both internal and customer stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership : Manage a cross-functional team that includes Oracle consultants, project managers, subject matter experts, partners, and third parties to execute customer projects. Foster teamwork and ensure that all members are aligned with program goals.
Financial & Budget Management : Monitor project budgets and ensure financial targets are met. Be commercially astute, managing project delivery within agreed financial parameters.
New Business Development : Assist with and occasionally lead the development of new consulting sales opportunities. Build relationships with key customers to identify new areas where Oracle’s solutions can provide value.
Risk Management : Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program delivery, including financial contingencies and time buffers. Proactively identify potential issues and escalate as necessary.
Mentorship & Collaboration : Guide and mentor a team of project managers and consultants. Share lessons learned and collaborate with other Oracle teams to improve delivery methodologies.
Customer Satisfaction : Ensure that customers are satisfied with Oracle’s delivery and that the program meets all objectives. Drive continuous improvement based on customer feedback and internal reviews.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience :
15+ years in relevant roles, including 10+ years in consulting and program management.
At least 10 years of experience with Oracle Retail solutions or similar systems, with a proven track record of successful program delivery.
Experience managing large teams and working with senior executives in customer organizations.
Previous experience with large systems providers or integrators is highly desirable.
Skills :
Strong program management expertise, with a deep understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Business development acumen, with the ability to create compelling proposals and drive new sales opportunities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with C-suite executives, customers, and internal teams.
A practical understanding of retail industry processes and challenges.
Strong financial management skills and experience managing large project budgets.
Certifications :
PMI PMP certification is preferred, but not required.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
