Paycom Online Stock Plan Administration Advisor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Act as Subject Matter Expert and proactively manages the overall activities of equity compensation administration. Prepares and provides information to employees regarding eligibility, grant and vest processes, purchase periods, and cost basis information. This position acts as a project manager for preparing stock grants and processing employee stock vests along carrying out ESPP activities. From time to time, this role will help support broad base compensation analysis needs and other assignments as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews policies and plan documents to make recommendations to improve overall plan governance.
Responsible for ensuring plan and grant agreement compliance with federal and state regulations and securities laws
Responsible for creating and presenting process improvement recommendations based on industry best practices
Accountable for process improvement and execution of LTIP and ESPP cyclical processes
Develops equity compensation training, partners with HR Business Partners and leadership on compensation training and leader education
Updates and maintain accurate equity participant information
Generates equity reports to support financial statement disclosures such as Earnings Per Share, equity award tables, and beneficial ownership tables for SEC filings, including Form 10K, 10Q, and proxy statements, as well as any other ad-hoc reports needed
Collaborates with Legal, Finance and HR teams to communicate materials, compliance, processes, and management reports in addition to any global equity matters
Partners with the compensation team to track awards as part of compensation package in job offers
Administers semi-yearly organization enrollments and quarterly employee stock purchases
Processes and monitors equity award activity, including grants and grant agreements, vesting of shares and employee terminations
Conducts audits/analysis/reconciliations with large data sets, data edits and complex calculations
Prepares grant files for all new equity grants
Prepares dividend accrual files and maintains record of dividends owed
Maintains accurate employee records in online benefits system, including demographic information and participant level tax information
Partners extensively with stock administration vendor to ensure a smooth equity administration environment
Proactively seeks out opportunities to automate existing processes into scalable solutions and provides recommendations to Compensation leadership
Provides equity plan analysis and work on moderate to complex projects

Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience:
- 7+ years of direct experience in a compensation, accounting, or tax overseeing stock plan administration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
Advanced degree
Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
Experience:
Prior experience in stock administration with equity platforms such as E*TRADE
Experience working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving organization
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability
Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from data
Complete work within deadlines
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Advanced Microsoft skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
