As a Data and Reporting Professional 2, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing provider data within the Medicaid space. Your expertise will be pivotal in collecting, cleaning, and interpreting raw data from various sources to generate insightful reports and identify trends. You will work collaboratively with associates at all levels of the organization to resolve data issues and communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management:

  • Collect raw data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Manage and maintain provider data within the Medicaid system.

  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze provider data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.

  • Utilize statistical tools and software to interpret complex data sets.

  • Data Cleaning and Issue Resolution:

  • Perform data cleaning and transformation to prepare data for analysis.

  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with peers and other departments to address data-related challenges.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate findings and insights to associates at all levels of the organization.

  • Present data reports and analysis results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Medicaid or healthcare sector.

  • Proven experience in managing and analyzing large datasets.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.

  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of database management and data warehousing concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mathematics, or related field

  • Experience working with governmental agencies

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$60,800 - $82,900 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
