Description
We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. This role is primarily focused on processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. This position provides an opportunity for individuals with skills in collections, billing, and data entry.
This role is 100% onsite in OKC!
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly
• Take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments
• Assist with clerical tasks as needed
• Conduct billing adjustments as required
• Perform data entry tasks as needed
• Assist with collections work as necessary
• Cooperate with the team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements • Proficient in Collections - Consumer procedures
• Experience in Billing processes
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Relevant certification or degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
