Job Summary and Qualifications

Assist the Controller in the data to day operations of the Accounting Department. Responsible for the related staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with hospital and Department Policies and Procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements. Assist in coordinating and managing the General Ledger. Assists in the supervision of General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. Participate in the Budget Process, gather information required and facilitate department reporting and variance analysis. Provides direction to accounts payable, payroll and other staff accounting as required to ensure position goals are met. Evaluates and counsels staff as necessary to insure they are knowledgeable of their position goals and responsibilities and that these goals and responsibilities are put into motion on a continuous and consistent basis. Performs duties as described in the position responsibilities of Assistant Controller. Report to the Controller.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelors Degree or must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date

• Minimum 1 year of experience

We are licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration as a Primary Stroke Center. We provide diagnostic services accredited by the American College of Radiology.
