Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shop. The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing all departments.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong administrative skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
-The Shop Manger will oversee the day-to-day activities of the shop's mechanic department and their engagement in servicing and repairing diesels, trailers, tankers.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fabrication, machining, and painting departments, ensuring quality products are being produced and schedules are being met without delay, and other equipment, as well as performing various administrative duties.
Supervise and direct daily activities of all departments.
Work with the parts department and distributors to ensure timely completion of all projects.
-Manage and maintain inventory
-Self-starter, highly motivated individual, with excellent communication skills.
- Ensure all employees are being productive.
-Ensure mandated inspections are completed in a timely manner.
-Ensures the grounds around shop and shop conforms to prescribed standards of safety and cleanliness.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
-Wages determined by skill, experience, and work ethic
Responsibilities
Maintaining accurate production lists, scheduling and maintaining all services for company and customer accounts. Working with drivers scheduling roadside services, working directly with the shops scheduling services and repairs other duties not listed.
Qualifications
Must have experience in the mechanic field.
Must have previous management experience.
Be able to adapt to change.
Be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Spanish speaking is a plus.
