Job Title: Video Producer

Job Summary:

Join Our Team as a Video Producer at USSTRATCOM Public Affairs Office! We're seeking a skilled Video Producer to shape and execute visual narratives for the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Public Affairs Office. Collaborate closely with USSTRATCOM PA to design productions, manage projects, and provide creative direction aligned with communication strategies. Your responsibilities include script and narrative development, on-site field shoots, and delivering high-definition finished products for diverse platforms.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaboratively working with USSTRATCOM PA on the design and visioning of all productions

  • Providing production management services to ensure alignment to project timelines and budgets, tracking project milestones and providing quality control of development work and deliverables

  • Providing creative direction in line with USSTRATCOM branding and communication strategies

  • Identifying shot lists based on content narrative and developing talking points and/or scripts for film participants for interviews and voiceovers

  • Developing an approach to conducting field shoots, prepare on-site locations for filming

  • Delivering high definition resolution finished product in separate formats that are sized for various social media platforms, Websites and presentations

  • Providing USSTRATCOM with unedited raw footage of all filming sessions for USSTRATCOM's own use, without limitation. Deliverables shall have professional-grade production features including, but not limited to:

  • videography that supports the deliverable's objective

  • interviews with military personnel and leadership

  • voice-over and narrations

  • music that compliments imagery

  • still photography, as deemed appropriate

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Secret clearance

  • United States citizenship

  • Formal training and/or education (Defense Information School or an industry certification) in Public Affairs concepts and techniques

  • Experience in developing near finished quality presentations or products from attendance at meetings or handwritten notes

    Desired:

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Background in defense

  • Experience in broadcast newsrooms or public affairs offices with frequent publishing

    Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours

  • Work is to be performed at Offutt Air Force Base in Sarpy County, Nebraska
