Saulsbury Industries Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist in Odessa, Texas

Job Summary Must have experience in document or administrative management. Oil and Gas industry experience preferred. Must be able to manage a high-volume workload and work in a team, tracking, maintaining, client, vendor and NDE documents. Maintain efficient workflow of vendor and client documents. Must be able to identify delays or issues that interfere in workflow processes and report to supervisor. Responsibilities: Report to QA/QC Manager/Supervisor Organizing Reports/documents as they come in and reviewing them for accuracy. Review all inspection reports/documents for accuracy and file into turnover dossiers per area. Build turnover dossiers: per direction of Quality Manager. Build Instrument Loop Folders Track Construction Progress Maintain documents daily by inserting documents into turnover dossiers. Maintain code books, project specifications and regulations, per QC Manual and contract! Auditing the dossiers and logs to identify errors and missing reports. Uploading to QC Server Identify delays or issues that interfere with the workflow process and report to the Supervisor. Manage Saulsbury Engineering FTP site for required projects. Requirements: One to three years related experience. Minimum of one year industry experience preferred. Ability to work with little supervision, self-starter and motivation. Ability to understand isometric drawings. (i.e., EandI, piping fitting, BOM, spec breaks) Well organized, attention to detail and good communications skills Ability to prioritize, demonstrate initiative, and handle the pressure of multiple project group document requirements with tact. Attention to detail, accuracy. Computer literate and competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Outlook, and ability to learn MaxTrax required. Familiar with the types of equipment used in process plants - field or vendor experience a plus. Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and recordkeeping Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment Solid communication skills, professional attitude, and works well and in harmony with others. Some overtime may be required with management approval. Strong organizational skills including alphabetization and numerical filing. Ability to work independently and excellent time management skills. Document Control / Turnover knowledge Ability to lift, bend, stoop, sit, stand, and reach for extended periods of time. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to walk the property and laydown yards. Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
