Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll with absolute accuracy for a large pool of employees, including hourly, salaried, and contract workers.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including tax filings, garnishments, and deductions.
Resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Maintain payroll records and conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies.
Support the finance team with reporting and analysis related to payroll expenditures and employee compensation trends.
Requirements
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of payroll processing experience, ideally in mid-to-large-scale environments.
Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of payroll software such as ADP, Workday, or Paylocity, along with proficiency in Excel for reporting purposes.
Preferred Traits: Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
