Description

If so, join our client's logistics and operations team in Oceanside as a Dispatcher! This critical role involves coordinating schedules, managing resources, and serving as the backbone of operations to ensure timely deliveries, smooth communication, and an efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch vehicles, equipment, personnel, or deliveries based on customer requests, operational plans, or emergency weather conditions.
Maintain real-time communication with drivers or field employees and resolve issues that arise during operations efficiently.
Monitor and track fleet activity, ensuring on-time arrivals, routes optimization, and proper usage of resources.
Process service orders, collect shipment or delivery details, and prepare accurate dispatch records.
Work closely with the operations team to improve logistics strategies and achieve business goals.
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers to provide updates, resolve inquiries, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Requirements
Prior experience in dispatching, logistics coordination, or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dispatch software systems or GPS tracking tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and adaptability under pressure.
Comfortable working with Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools to track and schedule operations.
