The Associate G3 Material Handler for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.

This position is part of the Production Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be based onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Role Specific:

  • Be responsible for supplying lines with components and materials required for production

  • Move and store finished goods to warehouse

  • Cycle count

  • Dispose of expired stock and obtain stock on requisitions from the warehouse

  • Pack and label kits where required

  • Prepare packing components for kit where required

  • Kit/Vial inspection where required

General:

  • Ensure that all Operations are performed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations.

  • Comply and co-operate with any changes to processes, machinery layout, production techniques, new equipment and processes.

  • Maintain neat and accurate records, logs and documents as required.

  • Understand and follow through on all relevant procedures and ensure compliance.

  • Comply with Set Housekeeping rules within the Department.

  • Comply with the Dress Code Regulations.

  • Comply with all Environmental and Health and Safety regulations.

  • Train other Personnel in any aspect of Job Function as required.

The essential requirements of the job include:

· Leaving Certificate or equivalent

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working in a Manufacturing Operations role as part of a team using problem solving tools in a manufacturing work environment

  • Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.

    Shift pattern:

  • Mon - Thurs 4pm-12am, Fri 3pm-10pm
