Conagra Quality Coordinator in Oakdale, California

The role involves reviewing batch records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, collaborating with production and quality teams to address discrepancies, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with stakeholders, participating in training for continuous improvement, adhering to company policies and safety guidelines, documenting process deviations, and completing any other assigned duties.

  1. Review batch records, including production and rework documentation, to verify accuracy and completeness.

  2. Ensure that all records comply with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to FDA, USDA, CA State and HACCP guidelines.

  3. Collaborate closely with production and quality assurance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.

  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of record review activities, including approvals and rejections.

  5. Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to provide feedback, address concerns, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

  6. Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills related to record review and food safety practices.

  7. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

  8. Document any process deviations and enter them in the database.

  9. Any other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred.

• Previous experience in a quality assurance role within the food industry is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information accurately.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards, including FDA, USDA, CA State and HACCP guidelines.

• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications and electronic record-keeping systems.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate findings clearly and concisely.

• BPCS (Better process control school), PCQI (Preventive Control Qualified Individual), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), SQF (Safe Quality Food) certifications highly preferred

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
