Conagra Operations Support Specialist in Oakdale, California

Job Summary

As the Operations Support Specialist, you will provide administrative, technical, and specialized support for the operations department. You will process schedules daily according to production schedules, call employees and inform them of their next shift, and work with various departments regarding staffing needs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Schedule labor needs per the production schedule across various departments in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.

  • Maintain and update employee information in all systems to ensure accurate information is current.

  • Work with Operations and Human Resources to ensure that the appropriate amount of full time, relief, and seasonal positions are trained to include but not limited to filling staffing needs.

  • Work with a variety of programs to include but not limited to excel, teams, publisher, dimensions, and others as the role requires.

  • Communicate with Human Resources regarding the current and future staffing needs to meet the labor requirements per department.

  • Prepare daily schedules and shift changes to accommodate training, call offs, vacations, leaves of absences, etc.

  • Resolve issues on Dimensions with the Production Manager and supervisors regarding employee scheduling.

  • Provide requested information to the Operations Manager for reports, employee training, evaluation reviews, bid qualifications, and others as needed.

  • Enter data into dimensions to enter correct schedule and coding for proper payment, shifts, etc.

  • Be responsible for accurate and proper records management that includes scanning, filing, and attention to detail.

Position Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, further education preferred

  • 3+ years relevant experience

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks in a deadline oriented environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills

  • Capable of working in a fast paced environment

  • Proficient in general computer operations with strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP preferred

  • Intermediate math skills

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee will be exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Compensation:

Annual Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
