JOB OVERVIEW

XCEL Engineering has an opening for a SharePoint Specialist to join our team of talented and diverse individuals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support SharePoint Migration for a large (5000+ employee) enterprise environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and be goal and deadline driven.
  • Specific support includes SharePoint online (cloud based) projects being converted from the classic template to a modern template.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance if needed which requires US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience implementing SharePoint Online solutions for business needs.
  • SharePoint Online experience to include setting permissions, creating pages, moving content, working with modern communications and modern team sites as well as modern web parts.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools
  • Working knowledge of InfoPath
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who is comfortable working as part of an iterative team and as an independent contributor.
  • Demonstrates a strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Desire to continuously improve technical skills and identify opportunities where development tools meeting ORNL Standards may be used in place of non-standard tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Inside office environment.
  • Working on a computer for long periods of time.
  • May involve long period of sitting at a desk.
  • The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
