JOB OVERVIEW
Xcel Engineering is seeking an Enterprise Search Administrator to join our team of talented and diverse individuals. The selected candidate perform analysis on search logs to determine what difficulties users encounter and recommend improvements to resolve those difficulties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Receive and react to user-submitted feedback.
- Serve as the primary interface with internal lab customers regarding search.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- US Citizen with eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical subjects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of web development experience.
- Proficient in the use of HTML, Javascript, and CSS.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in using BA Insights and Elastic.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
- Inside office environment.
- Working on a computer for long periods of time.
- May involve long period of sitting at a desk.
- The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
