What you will do:
- Set up and calibrate directional drilling equipment, including locating devices, guidance systems, and survey tools.
- Implement measures to minimize environmental impact during drilling
- Identify and address any challenges or obstacles encountered during drilling
- Develop drilling plans and provide input on the selection of appropriate drilling
- Transporting equipment and materials to and from various job sites.
- Collaboration and teamwork are essential expectations for this
- This position will involve hands-on work and physically demanding excavating
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Directional Drill Locator
- Our construction sites are in the Port Clinton area so you must be able to reasonably commute to these sites.
- In-depth knowledge of directional drilling techniques, equipment, and
- Familiarity with survey tools, guidance systems, and tracking
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make real-time
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental considerations related to drilling activities.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather
- Relevant certifications in directional drilling and equipment operation
- Telecommunications industry experience
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
