Position summary:

This position provides licensed administrative/insurance/investment support to Ryan VanDeLoo, CFP® of Thrivent Financial. This position serves as a resource to the Financial Advisor and client/members in handling, researching and communicating inquiries regarding their accounts and supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs in support of client relations, case and proposal preparation, supporting securities and insurance related tasks and other administrative tasks as assigned. The Licensed Office Professional reports to and is employed by Ryan VanDeLoo, CFP® of Thrivent Financial.

This position will be out of Oak Creek, WI. This position is full time. Compensation for this position is commensurate with education and experience. Range $25-$30 per hour. Opportunities for growth available.

Job Description

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Verbal or written communications with prospective or existing customers regarding financial matters to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Complete redemptions, purchases, exchanges, fund transfers, and other financial management requests from clients and/or Financial Advisor

  • Explain, discuss, or interpret insurance coverage

  • Assist Financial Advisor in the preparation and follow up for the client meetings

  • Collaborate with Financial Advisor to assist client with product changes

  • Prepare applications needed to implement recommendations

  • Document all client interactions in Salesforce profile

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with licensure and business needs

Position Qualifications

  • Previous administrative experience desired

  • Must hold Series 7/66 licensing

  • Must hold WI Life and Health insurance licensing or complete within 3 months of hire

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2+ years preferred

  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and DocuSign) or ability to learn

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions

  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

  • Basic understanding of our products, services, and Thrivent Financial

  • As part of Thrivent Financial- Ryan VanDeLoo, CFP® recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the hiring/contracting process. In addition, fingerprints will be taken for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
