Job Description:

About the Role :

TreeHouse Foods is looking for a highly experienced director of real estate to oversee all aspects of the company’s real estate portfolio. As the director, you will be responsible for strategically managing our organization's real estate assets, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring the efficient operation of all facilities. With a strong understanding of corporate real estate, you will play a key role in developing and implementing real estate strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Develop and execute the corporate and manufacturing real estate strategy to support the company's growth and operational needs.

  • Oversee the acquisition, leasing, and disposition of real estate assets, ensuring that transactions are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Manage and negotiate lease agreements, including tenant improvements, rent negotiations, and lease renewals.

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and emerging market trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align real estate strategies with business objectives.

  • Direct the planning, design, and construction of new facilities, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

  • Implement sustainable and energy-efficient practices to reduce the company's carbon footprint and operating costs.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as landlords, brokers, contractors, and vendors.

  • Develop and manage the real estate budget, ensuring financial objectives are met and expenses are controlled.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to leadership on real estate portfolio performance, market trends, and opportunities.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices, innovations, and emerging technologies in corporate real estate.

  • Oversee relationships with security-related vendors and service providers, ensuring the delivery of quality services in accordance with agreed-upon contracts and service level agreements.

  • Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including security personnel, access control systems, surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and emergency protocols.

About You :

You’ll fit right in if you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

  • Proven experience, including 10 years real estate management, with a track record of successfully executing real estate strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of real estate market trends, property valuation, and financial analysis.

  • In-depth understanding of lease agreements, construction processes, and building codes.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to think strategically, analyze complex data, and make informed decisions.

  • Proficiency in real estate software and financial modeling tools.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
