Emerson PROCESS ENGINEER in NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize costs.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Department to ensure processes meet required specifications and standards.

  • New Process Implementation: Design and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies in coordination with cross-functional teams.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize production downtime.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure that equipment is functioning correctly and that preventive maintenance schedules are followed.

  • Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes and equipment.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.

  • Submit PRs (Problem Reports): Submit PRs in TeamCenter on discrepancies found in BOMs and Drawings.

  • Cost Improvement Projects: Generate, analyze, develop, and implement cost improvement projects.

  • Fixture Tooling Design: Create new fixtures tooling CAD (2D) and (3D) drawings as required.

  • Safety: Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations and company policies.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in process engineering, quality control, or manufacturing operations.

  • Demonstrated analytical skills with a proven track record of process improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Experience with CNC lathe and milling machines, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting.

  • Proficiency in CAD tools, specifically Solid Edge.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

  • Intermediate proficiency in English (ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in project management is an advantage but not required.

  • Availability to travel within the USA and Mexico.
