What You’ll Do

This is an opportunity to learn 2 different domains within corporate cyber security

practices. Firstly, you’ll act as support for the Business Information Security Officer,

which will expose you to company wide cyber security planning, strategy and how

the cyber ecosystem in a listed company operates. In addition to the above you will

also be supporting the Newsroom and High Risk Digital Security Group with

geopolitical risk assessment, mission planning, device research and support guide

creation.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to learn the technologies and protections

added to them for journalists operating in high risk environments such as

operational theatres of combat, nations suffering political unrest, hostile foreign

powers and places with civil unrest. In addition, you will be responsible for the

documentation and collateral associated with the research conducted into these

devices.

In addition, you will be required to attend strategy and planning meetings, risk

meetings, intelligence briefings and other governance and leadership forums where

you will present your research and take part in the strategic development process of

an enterprise cyber security function.

Required Experience & Qualifications

No Professional Experience Required. University student or recent graduate in any

business or IT discipline preferred.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

Strong written communication skills with demonstrable capability in handbook

creation.

Strong critical thinking skills and a good approach to problem solving.

Location: Sydney, 2 Holt St Surry Hills

Working Arrangement: Part time / Hybrid as required
