The Project Manager will be responsible for developing the overall project scope(s) and cost estimation for various interior, exterior and/or playground projects related to early childhood education facilities, and will manage the coordination/administration for, permitting (when required), bidding process, qualifying, and awarding to contractor(s), scheduling, budget, and reporting on each assigned project. The ideal candidate will be based in Texas. This position typically involves 25% - 40% regular travel to the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston Texas areas, with additional travel to other locations as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide internal teams with reliable budget estimates for requested projects, including remodels, relocations, acquisitions, vacant buildings, or stand-alone capital projects to ensure cost effective solutions and adherence to corporate design standards.
Execute and manage projects to maintain reasonable schedule objectives while working within the approved budget.
Manage each phase of the project including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, start up, turnover and project close out within prescribed guidelines.
Coordinate project schedules and maintain information on a weekly basis within LCG’s Financial Project Database. Present reports defining project progress, issues and solutions.
Work with LCG Operations/Field partners, outside Facility Management teams and Facilities’ Sr Project Coordinator to develop annual Capex budget recommendations utilizing site audits, historic data, and field site visits.
Update and reconcile LCG’s Financial Project Database’s Identified Capital needs for designated sites annually.
Assist internal teams in identifying additional potential capital projects throughout the year and assist in making recommendation on project priorities. Maintain information and reliable estimated budgets in within LCGs Financial Project Database.
Apply tools and resources used by Facilities Department and LCG to achieve fundamental proficiency and be able to apply and use on projects as appropriate.
Manage current (and expand new) vendors relationships and monitor contractor’s costs and performance.

Job Requirements
High School diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
PMP or LEED certification, preferred
A minimum of 5 years of retail project management experience or similar.
Multi-site experience required.
Certifications in the field of construction/construction management, preferred
Proven experience with cost estimation and industry standards, preferred
Experience with urban municipalities, expediting services and due diligence, preferred
Familiar with architectural and/or interior design, preferred
Web based project management experience, preferred.
