ManpowerGroup Materials Planner - Novi, MI in Novi, Michigan
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Materials Planner to join their team. As a Materials Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain department supporting the procurement and inventory management efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Materials Planner
Location: Novi, MI
Pay Range: $28 - $32/hr
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain material plans aligned with production schedules and sales forecasts.
Analyze production requirements to determine precise material needs and service requirements.
Collaborate with suppliers to establish delivery schedules that meet production demands.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure materials are available as required while minimizing excess stock.
Analyze material usage trends to inform purchasing decisions and optimize inventory levels.
What's Needed?
Supply Chain Management certification, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in planning, procurement, or supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management principles.
