Robert Half Customer Service Manager in Norwood, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our team based in Norwood, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Customer Service team, setting and monitoring key performance indicators, as well as developing and implementing strategies to meet department and company goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and train the Customer Service team, maintaining accountability for productivity and accuracy

• Develop and implement strategies to meet departmental and company objectives

• Evaluate team performance, offering feedback and disciplinary action as necessary

• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures within the Customer Service team

• Collaborate with other department managers to communicate company policy changes

• Handle escalated customer service and department-specific issues

• Propose adjustments to operational processes as required

• Lead individual and team meetings, ensuring clear communication within the team

• Manage workload distribution in accordance with specific department needs

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service in all interactions

Skills:

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Knowledge of compliance regulations and hiring processes

• Ability to build and maintain effective employee relations

• Proven record in managing customer service teams. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required

• At least 2 years of work-related supervisory or management experience in a healthcare-related field

• Previous experience with prior authorization process preferred

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication abilities

• Professional computer experience (especially Microsoft Office Suite)

• Ability to work independently to investigate and make decisions

• Ability to prioritize and complete work amidst interruptions in a busy work area

• Available during normal hours of operation

• Ability to comply with guidelines both internal and industry-imposed

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
