Nesco Resource Client Support Professional in Norwalk, Connecticut
Overview:
We're looking for a proactive, solutions-driven professional to join our team as an Order Management and Client Support Coordinator. This role blends customer support, order processing, and logistics coordination. You'll be the key point of contact for managing client orders and ensuring timely, accurate fulfillment across both domestic and international shipments.
Hours are: 8:45 am to 4:45 pm. Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer orders through SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely entry
Communicate with customers regarding lead times, order status, and product availability
Schedule order pickups and coordinate with freight carriers for domestic and export shipments
Expedite orders when necessary and collaborate with internal logistics teams
Enter customer quotes, update account information, and assist with new customer onboarding
Maintain ongoing communication with assigned accounts to build strong relationships
Support the Sales team by monitoring repeat orders and customer forecasts
Work with warehousing teams to handle order changes and inbound shipments
Track trends in customer activity and escalate relevant insights to management
Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation for all customer interactions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience in customer support, order fulfillment, or logistics coordination
Strong written and verbal communication skills
ERP experience (SAP preferred)
Knowledge of domestic shipping and export logistics
Strong time management and critical thinking skills
A team-first attitude and proactive problem-solving approach
