Responsibilities

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Medical Surgical Acute Care team. In this vital role, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, using your expertise to coordinate, supervise, and implement evidence-based practices. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

  • Administer medications and treatments, carefully monitoring patient responses.

  • Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and their families, actively involving them in their care.

  • Conduct regular patient rounds, proactively addressing their needs and concerns.

  • Supervise and guide other team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

  • Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and ethical practice, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current California License required.

  • Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required.

  • Minimum one (1) year recent acute care expereince required.

  • Current certification in specialty area preferred.

  • Experience with EHR (Cerner MediTech etc?) preferred.

  • Current AHA BLS card required.

  • LA City Fire Care required within 90 days of hire.

This position is represented by SEIU L121 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Pay Range

$50.87 - $72.40 /hour
