Summary: The Electrical Department Operations Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring the department’s goals are achieved.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the department team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to improve department performance and efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate department operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance interdepartmental coordination.
Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet departmental objectives and project requirements.
Monitor and maintain department budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement sand industry standards.
Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.
Identify and resolve operational issues and conflict s in a timely manner.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the department.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on department performance and progress towards goals.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Characteristics:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role
Strong knowledge of operational processes and best practices
Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in utilizing technology and software for operations management
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Educational & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred
OSHA 30 certification
Advanced understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
