Description

Summary: The Electrical Department Operations Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, optimizing processes, and ensuring the department’s goals are achieved.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the department team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to improve department performance and efficiency.

  • Monitor and evaluate department operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance interdepartmental coordination.

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet departmental objectives and project requirements.

  • Monitor and maintain department budget, ensuring financial targets are met.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirement sand industry standards.

  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues and conflict s in a timely manner.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the department.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on department performance and progress towards goals.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Characteristics:

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

  • Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers

  • Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality

  • Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner

  • At times may perform clerical/administrative duties

  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of operational processes and best practices

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in utilizing technology and software for operations management

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred

  • OSHA 30 certification

  • Advanced understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
