Aventure Staffing Barista in North Sioux City, South Dakota

Barista

$14 - $15/hr DOE

Full-Time hours 6am – 4 pm including 2 Saturday shifts a month

This opportunity to work for a coffee shop that serves fresh coffee, breakfast, and lunch items in the Dakota Dunes community may be for you! As a Barista, you will be responsible for greeting customers, preparing drinks, food items, and maintain and clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve beverage and food items

  • Receives and processes payment

  • Delivers an exceptional customer experience

  • Answer customer questions and describes items to guests

  • Assists with cleaning and sanitizing

  • Stocks supplies

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Valid Drivers License and meet insurable requirements

  • Excellent listening and communication skills

  • Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices

  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods

  • Manage multiple orders simultaneously and recall faces, names, and preferences of frequent guests

  • Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $14 - -$15/hour DOE

  • Paid every Friday

  • Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available
