Insight Global Design Engineer in North Plains, Oregon
Job Description
A manufacturing and engineering company in North Plains, OR is seeking a Design Engineer to join its team. This person is responsible for turning conceptual ideas into tangible products that meet client standards and customer expectations. This person will play a crucial role in the entire product development lifecycle, from initial design to final production. Responsibilities include:
Assess and interpret design briefs to understand the requirements.
Conduct research on user experience, market trends, and product functionality.
Create and iterate design prototypes using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
Perform rigorous usability tests and modify designs based on feedback.
Document the design process: drawings, costed BOM, Material Specification Data Sheets

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software - Knowledge of SolidWorks null
