We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic Veterinary Tech for our non profit no kill animal rescue.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OFEXPERIENCE and VETERINARY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION (do not click the "Apply" button otherwise)
- Must possess a valid, SC driver's license
Responsibilities of the job:
- Observing animal patients for changes in behavior
- Giving animals nursing care or first aid
- Collecting and test lab samples
- Giving medications, shots or treatments
- Collecting and maintaining patient records
- Grooming patients
- Sanitization of equipment and facility
- Restraining and handling patients
- Clerical and administrative work
- Some heavy lifting
