Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Finance Intern to support the Strategic Data Analytics Group. Your Responsibilities: Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and forecasts. Support data entry, reconciliation, and analysis of financial transactions. Conduct research on industry trends, financial regulations, and best practices. Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis to ensure financial accuracy. Help maintain financial models and reports in Excel or other financial tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data. Participate in financial audits and compliance reviews by organizing and verifying documents. Review and process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments. Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing processes. Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed. You Must Have: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling concepts. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity. The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 to $17. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
