Job Description

We are a forward-thinking organization dedicated to attracting top talent, fostering a high-performance culture, and creating an inclusive, innovative workplace. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Recruiting Assistant to partner with team leadership to identify and recruit interns and rising professionals. Periodic travel within the Olsson footprint would be required to attend on-campus events during the academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and pre-employment screenings.

  • Collaborate with team leadership to determine specific hiring needs.

  • Provide prompt follow-up and communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle to ensure an inclusive and positive candidate experience.

  • Work in tandem with team leadership and candidates to schedule and conduct thorough phone screens and interviews.

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and attending campus recruiting events such as career fairs, networking events, and other on-campus activities.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Overland Park, KS or North Kansas City, MO office locations.

You bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related area. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required.

  • 0-2 years of recruiting experience.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Highly organized with ability to handle high volume recruiting needs.

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally.
