Position Overview
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the LAN/WAN integrity of the entire network including remote warehouse and data center locations. The Sr Network Engineer will work directly with internal technical teams to implement new technologies as well as provide operational support. This role will require a broad understanding of networking technology that will cover multiple platforms.

Description
Monitor the integrity, operation, and optimization of the WAN, LAN, Wireless, VPN, and networks for the enterprise. Troubleshoot advance incidents or direct issues to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
Design, plan and implement approved projects.
Create and maintain documentation of network solutions, incidents and general knowledge base.
Identify and map network requirements for applications in collaboration with development teams.
Provide timely responses to assigned tickets and update case management system accordingly.
Work with security office to respond to vulnerabilities in the network environment.

Skills
Specialized Knowledge : CCNA, CCNP certification , Aruba certification, Strong knowledge of F5 Load Balancers, Familiarity in Cloud environments (GCP), Strong switching experience (Cisco and Aruba), Advanced experience configuring, supporting and implementation of next-gen firewalls (Firewalls Fortinet, ASA, Palo Alto), Expertise in the support of wireless technologies in a warehouse environment, Ability to troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN incidents
Special Skills : High degree of flexibility; Strong technical consulting skills; Strong collaboration skills; Ability to drive change and to adapt to change quickly.

Years Of Experience
- 7-10 : Years of experience in computer science and/or IT roles. Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with large scale IP networks with multiple routing domains & service providers, routing protocols, preferably BGP, EIGRP & OSPF. Experience automating and streamlining network processes through software-defined networking (SDN). Experience with Silverpeak technologies preferred.

Associate Degree - Computer and Information Science, Bachelor's Degree - Computer and Information Science, Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) - CFA Institute, High School Diploma - General Studies
