Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Manager, Pre-Construction Services for its Sacramento operations based in North Highlands, CA . This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Performing quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.

  • Establish labor productivities for estimate.

  • Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing.

  • Responsible for the buyout of subcontractors

  • Accountable for results to meet business objectives for revenue and margin.

  • Build solid customer relations with all customers.

  • Assign bids and coordinates bid calendar.

  • Oversite of the estimating department.

  • Uses available technology to perform job tasks efficiently.

  • Creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team and defines success in terms of the whole team.

Salary range: $123,200-$165,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program

This role is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience with PCI or similar company

  • Current position of Senior Estimator or higher

Minimum Requirements :

  • Working knowledge of all PCI applications

  • Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner

  • Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specification and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work

  • High level of attention to detail and cost analysis

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught

  • Ability to train, motivate and inspire those around him/her

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with commercial interior construction; metal stud, drywall, acoustical ceiling scopes is preferred
