    Minimum Requirements:

    *An Associates Degree or Higher in Culinary Arts with 4 years of culinary industry experience or 7 years of Culinary Industry experience that contains some Culinary teaching experience, or a NYS Teaching Degree in Family Consumer Science with some culinary industry experience.

    *At least four years of professional Culinary industry or Family and Consumer Science teaching experience

    Position Summary/Responsibilities:

    *Design and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction that adheres to state curriculum and standards using a variety of teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.

    *Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged.

    *Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and evidence based interventions as appropriate.

    *Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress and potential areas for improvement.

    *Stay current with best practices in FACS education and professional development opportunities.

    *All other duties as assigned.

    *All teachers who are new to Greece will be required to attend two teacher induction days in the month of August.

    *Additionally, all Teachers will be required to to work 2 Teachers days in the Month of August (one occurring between August 19th-30th).
