The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing support, guidance and leadership to the maintenance department to fully support Production, Quality and Safety.

Job Description:

  • Assist with maintenance activities tied to production and the facility, including but not limited to ensuring the facility’s safety and environmental work is current and compliant.

  • Monitor personnel matters to include work schedules, vacations, and discipline.

  • Provide guidance, training, and coaching to the maintenance team.

  • Monitor line operations, production line speeds, quality, and attend daily meetings.

  • Maintain SOP’s to keep the facility ready for customer and government audits.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues as needed.

  • Review and assign work orders as necessary.

  • Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting, problem solving activities and maintenance repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime.

  • Execute, integrate and complete assigned projects by utilizing a partnership with Safety, Operations and all Platform Groups. Execute project initiatives to ensure that all projects are completed to meet the business need.

  • Promote a safe and positive work environment, enforcing standards for food safety and food quality reflected in SQF as well as the regulations of governing agencies such as OSHA, FDA and EPA and assuring employees are trained in these standards and comply with all requirements.
