Job Description

Purpose

The Finance Lead, Inventory Analytics leads inventory forecast cycles, provides financial leadership and expertise around processes and policies governing inventory, promotes cross-functional collaboration, supports the Operations Brand Teams for certain products, and drives automation and improvements in inventory consolidation and reporting. This position rolls up under Operations (Supply Chain) Finance and partners closely with Supply Chain, Brand Management, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global inventory reporting cycles and manage templates (Actuals and LBE) as required and incorporate review changes of both financial and operating management.

  • Assist with preparation of robust slide decks for monthly management reporting covering topics such as unapproved inventory, inventory reserves, and distressed inventory.

  • Be a role model by demonstrating team vision, enabling change, and promoting teamwork.

  • Drive inventory governance through adherence to policy and standardization of inventory processes.

  • Drive improvements to data integrity, building robust and agile reporting, and process simplification.

  • Help drive inventory automation by advancing technologies and functionality enhancements.

  • Support business partners globally by providing actionable insight on inventory holdings.

  • Participate in Brand Team meetings to learn more about some of our key products and business dynamics which can impact our inventory balances.

  • May have supervisory responsibility for one or more direct reports.

  • Ability to influence cross-functionally and drive tasks to consensus / closure and to work independently, adjusting priorities as needed.

  • Strong communication skills, able to synthesize complex concepts into simple terms with ability to innovate and maintain a continuous improvement attitude.

  • Individual must be self-motivated and demonstrate a high level of accountability with demonstrated problem solving skills.

Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.

  • Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience.

  • Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Proficiency in Excel required.

  • Knowledge of SAP and Power Bi a plus.

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
